Robert Koulakes and Katianna Parisis give tech workshop to teenagers on SQL–the language that data folks know and (probably) love.

As the world becomes increasingly digital, one thing is clear: data is absolutely everywhere. Having the skills to be able to find insights from data are becoming increasingly important (even in non technical roles).

By learning to code, teens can open doors to a wide range of career options, many of which didn’t even exist a few years ago. Basic SQL reinforces math skills, particularly concepts like algebra, logic, and problem-solving.

We teach this topic because we want our future to be exposed to practical and hands on skills.
